The Ottawa Folk Festival is a non-profit organization and relies on the generous support of its volunteers and sponsors in order to survive. There are many different roles and responsibilities that require volunteer support, especially during the summer Festival, held each year in the middle of August. Volunteering for the Festival provides the unique opportunity to:

• Support a local, non-profit arts organization
• Gain valuable work experience
• Meet new people
• Experience a world-class music festival
• Students can use these hours to fulfill their Ontario Volunteer requirements

If you are interested in applying please fill out a Festival Volunteer Application form, available as a PDF file or RTF (Microsoft Word) file.

Download the Volunteer Application form, fill it out, sign and date it, then mail or fax the completed form to the Ottawa Folk Festival office at the address provided on the form. Alternately, you can save the downloaded RTF form version on your computer, complete it, and then send it as an e-mail attachment to volunteers@ottawafolk.org, however, if you use the e-mail method you will have to sign a hard copy later.
