The Ottawa Folk Festival has many opportunities for sales points at our summer event. Should you be interested in participating as a food or fair-trade vendor, please contact our Site Operations Coordinator at siteoperations@ottawafolk.org or by phone 613-230-8234.

Craft Artisans

At each Festival, we showcase local and regional Craft Artisans, who sell their hand-made crafts at the Festival site in Britannia Park. For 2007, the Festival hours will be from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, August 16-17, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 19.

If you are a Craft Artisan and you would like to participate in the 2007 Festival, please download the application form below, fill it in and mail it to the Ottawa Folk Festival office. The deadline for Craft Artisan applications is May 15, 2007. A jury will review the applications and select the Craft Artisans who will be invited to participate in the 2007 Festival. All applicants will be notified of the results, after the jury has met. Please bear in mind that in order to be considered as a Craft Artisan, you must make the items yourself by hand. Manufactured or imported goods are not eligible.

Craft Artisans are asked to mail a completed application form, a cheque, a self-addressed stamped envelope, and photographs of recent work to:
